In her 25 years of psychotherapy practice, with compassion and integrity, Nina integrates body-mind and spiritual awareness in her work with adults, couples, and groups. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work and has worked in a myriad of inpatient and outpatient mental health and addictions treatment setting. Se is one of the founding partners of the Center for Mind-Body Therapies which began in 1995. Nina is also a Feng Shui practitioner and offers Traditional Feng Shui for the home and work Environment.
Specialties Include:
A holistic approach to the treatment of addictions utilizing a 12-step Model, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and self empowerment via a whole person recovery approach. When appropriate, clients are often referred to complementary healing modalities to assist them in early, middle and later stages of recovery. Acupuncture, massage therapy and other forms of bodywork, meditation, yoga, and nutritional services can be critical adjunctive support services.

Guided by the belief that our homes and personal work spaces are mirrors of ourselves, Nina blends traditional Feng Shui with Chinese astrology based in 5 element principles to assist in achieving balance and harmony in one's inner and outer life. Her work focuses on the very real connection between our living and working spaces and our actually physical, emotional, relational and financial well-being. Nina is available to provide small group workshops related to Feng Shui essentials, clutter and space cleansing, 4 pillars Chinese astrology, and creating a sacred space in our environment.
